Segfault from using model generated with xml2g
« on: 29 June 2009, 10:07:50 »
Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to 3d modelling, but I don't think that's why I'm having this problem.
I've managed to set up the basic model for a unit in a faction I'm making in blender. Then I export to glest xml format. No errors or anything there. Then I use xml2g to generate the g3d file. Still no error or warning. Then I open glest, select a map at random, and the faction I'm making. The loading info gets as far as saying something about the music stream so fast I can hardly read it (just after it says initializing renderer). Unfortunately it doesn't give me anything more helpful than that. No error message at all besides "Segmentation fault"
If anyone can help figure out what I've been doing wrong, I'll be so grateful.

Well, the problem is solved using the blender exporter on titusgames. Thanks a bunch!

Since the problem is solved, i think that this topic should be locked, but not deleted, because someone else might have the same problem.
