I was wondering.. How do you put a picture of a glest unit as your avatar?

Simple. After logging on, go to profile and browse the options until you find the avatar one. You can also set things like sigs (footers to every message you post).

I would recommend you make your own picture, or take one of the glest unit pics and save it as a JPG. Then upload to a site that will let you host images such as mediafire.com or imageshack.us (imageshack is probably the simplest since it is image only). Put that link in, and you're good to go!

I up load all my images to facebook.

It doesn't really matter where you upload it, though Mediafire allows up to 100MB (never even seen a picture above 4MB, and that's crystal clear!). Imageshack and Mediafire don't need you to make an account or log in, which is great. I have an account on imageshack, but never log into it these days. Just choose the picture, click upload, there: done! Now I can grab the link for whatever I need, very fast too.
