Yes! A Milestone!

So, I remember when I was first excited that I finally beat the first normal computer AI. However, I have now set a personal milestone. I beat a tech cpu(ultra) in island siege (I know, it's an easier map)!!! So right now, I'm pretty psyched. But I still can't seem to beat anything more than 1v1 lol. Anyways, yay!

Edit: Oh ya, I'm new to these forums =P In case you guys haven't seen my post count, which is 1 lol.

We( my son and I in coop multiplayer ) could beat two ultra persians this evening!! I played indian he tech and we used the map overgrown city ( me on first slot my son on 3rd ).
This was a real milestone for us, we never had a chance fighting two ultra persians before! WE WON !!! : :) ;D :) ;D ;D ;D

Sorry for the double post, but I now beat the Mage Cpu(Ultra) in the mountain map! Man, those dragons are crazy O_O. So ya, 1 win against tech cpu(ultra) and 1 win against mage cpu (ultra) =)

Congratulations. I would recommend your ultimate goal being to defeat two ultra tech and one ultra magic on the same team. That is burnout kind of difficult! I did it once. Took me two tries, and I was very well versed with the map, and every secret possible. Magic is really the only faction capible of taking out such foes...

Still, I remember my first victory. In fact, I think I won my very first battle I ever did, mostly by sheer luck though, since I had an ally! My first one on one made me proud too. The AI is hard for new players who don't know what to do. Unfortunately, once you get good, you see the AI is really all brute force and no brains, and they become easier because of that.

Anyway, congrats, and welcome to the glest board!

I know what you mean. The only problem for me is, it's quite a bit of brute force XD. But ya, I think it's time to try going against 2 cpu (ultra). (I've already tried twice, but I couldn't make it past the first wave in that scenario)
