The old man came back holding a large sword, it's blade blazed with a magnificent light, and a glowing gem in the hilt made the sword seem..........alive.

The old man handed the boy the sword and told him to keep it hidden. Just then, the girl returned. Seeing the boy, she smiled in a way that almost put Alexander into a trance. He knew one thing for certain. This was not his ordinary girl.

It doesn't really make sense anymore. If the old man told him not to respect life why go hunting?

SCAVENGING FOR BERRIES! Jeeze!!! Hunting does not necessary mean 'killing animals'. It means searching. This is english, a very loose language, so don't take things literally.

Then the boy realized what was meant. The two were looking for food. Plants... thought the boy. He passed off a repulsive thought. He didn't like not eating meat, but the man made a strong point. Suddenly, he wondered just why Arithia was here. How was she related to the old man?

And then someone tapped him on the shoulder.
He turned around to see a very muscular man, that was a bit taller than Alexander.
"I claim this land in the name of Queen Dracerra", thundered the big man.
Alexander replied, "Oh Really", and cracked his knuckles.
The man swung a large club at him, and Alexander blocked it with his hand. Then the man swung his heavy fist and hit Alexander in the face knocking him to the ground. Alexander got up and said, "just go before I start fighting back! AND DON"T EVER EVER COME BACK!!!".

the man laughed like thunder and swung with his club again. This time the kid was ready and ducked. Before the man had time to readjust and take another shot he was knocked out cold before he could say 'what the..'. "Nice shot" came a voice from behind - that of the old man."Why thank u" replied the boy.'I'm beginning to like this place he wondered'." Oh I'm glad u do" said the old man.

The old man stopped chuckling, and told the boy to go get his sword, the boy quickly fetched it, running at great speed!
When the boy had returned, the old man said, "You see that there are two empty slots in the hilt of the sword...", the boy replied with a brief yes, and that he had wondered about the slots a lot.
"So, when do I begin?", the boys voice was full of excitement....and confusion.
