So I was thinkning.... Lua using luabind (or swig, my preference is luabind, swig seems over-the-top to me, we only need to support one scripting language) will deprecate most of the current interface, including a few things I recently added. 

However, Timers and Triggers are not amongst those things, so we should probably keep them in the mix for 0.2.13.  The sources of the parameters passed to them might change, but their interface wont, and they add so much more potential to the possibilities for scenarios that it would be remiss of us to not include them now, having them already working apparently without hitch (actually, remind me to 'handle size > 1 properly' for loaction triggers at some point ;) ).
