Wings 3d?
« on: 6 September 2009, 19:22:51 »
Hi, I have been playing glest for about a week now and I want to get into modding. I previously worked with mount and blade, and when I made models for that i would use wings 3d. My question is can I use Wings to edit g3d files?

You would have to use Blender as an intermediary.

Yes but you would have to install the G3d plugin (instructions for doing that).

Yes there is one, but we currently don't have a way to import animations, so your best bet is to check out this thread, which has links to some of the original Glest models in .obj format, which can be imported into Blender.
