Okay, sorry for the bump and the double post :-[, but I have updated the cache to include fantasy and ancient style weapons.  The fantasy ones are especially recommended for Gameboy's elves, but anyone can use them.

Edit:  I have made some ranged weapons:

Composite Shortbow
Longbow (Welsh)
Hunter's Shortbow
Latter-Medieval Crossbow
Sling w/shot

YAY!

Please add descriptions in your first post now. If you wait too long, you'll have even more weapons to do, and this just makes it harder.

"Why put off for tomorrow what we can do the day after?" Because Omega will haunt you for eternity otherwise! :D

I have updated the Cache, with descriptions for fantasy style weapons.

EDIT:  Now I have updated with new models for Ancient and Fantasy weapons, and descriptions for Fantasy.

Sorry to be bugging but...

How do we add this to existing models? I wanted to replace the swordsman sword with a spear and I find it hard to animate...

Thank you for the reply.  As to your question, I know it is not easy, but you must select the object that includes all the weapons, and delete all weapons other than your weapon of choice.  Then open your swordman model, go to file/append-link/ and then find my file with only your weapon.  And select objects/ and find the object that has the weapon.  When I get home I can easily make that hunter model for you, but right now I am 350 miles from Milwaukee in Detroit.  I won't be back until sunday, because for now I am typing from a nice computer at a hotel waiting for my parents to kick me off to go to the henry ford museum! GRRR!

I will not promise anything.  First of all, I am happy that you replied and requested, but I will tell you not to expect any quality here.  The reason is I just make my models by using the subdivide and extrude tools.  I am also only knowledgeable on medieval and ancient weapons.  Modern weapons is something i ought to try, but I will not promise quality, at least at first.  And I will need to know how big it is and I will need a good concept art.  For any gun later than 1500s-era I am as good as anyone.  I will try.

don't worry i'm not looking for a great quality actual you can just use a box , rotate some verts , extrude and then scale , thats it , but thx here is the concept http://www.efour4ever.com/thompson_560_text.jpg

I see you got what I meant!  I don't know if I told you but I am at a hotel and I can't do modeling ATM, so just tell me all guns you want and give them their respective concepts.  I will begin work immediately upon arrival in Wauwatosa.

Good, because that is not much more than what I normally do to create weapon models.

While we're requesting new weapons, I'll add some fantasy ones:

Staff almost exactly like gandalf the GREY's in LOTR.

Twisted 'bone-like' staff with skull at end. Pale white if you decide to texture. Fairly thin. (Necromancer!)

Tree branch like staff for the druid. End parts a bit, and the staff is bumpy and twisted.

Skeletal blade for the skeleton. Not exactly sure how to describe it. It is sort of split into two parts, and the blade is curved and wide...

A large iron hammer for the zombie.

And a book for the monk (make sure it can be opened and textured easily!). Not really a weapon, but...

No pressure. Totally optional, but lowers my FPM load (not by much, but some) and allows me to use others imaginations, not just mine!

FPM = Four Path Magitech. I don't have time to explain right now, but there's a stickied post for the original FPM on the GAE board. What I am doing is taking that unfinished mod and completely remaking it to a full, powerful, GAE driven mod that it should be! I have a thread called 'FPM Revitalized' on the GAE board that details my new concepts.

Not to be ungrateful about the requests, fluffy, but I don't know how big those guns are.  I need you to say something like 'm1 garand, 3 feet long' so I can have it scaled.

Staff almost exactly like gandalf the GREY's in LOTR.
I have never seen the movie, but is this picture it?  And for the end part, it would be much easier to texture if it was just alpha'd out.  If it was alpha'd, however, glest alpha troubles could cause an issue.

Twisted 'bone-like' staff with skull at end. Pale white if you decide to texture. Fairly thin. (Necromancer!)
I was actually hoping you would use the necromancer's staff I made already, but I could make a new one.  It will look like this: http://zibbyzabby.com/catalog/images/PR45B.jpg with a more bone like staff?

Tree branch like staff for the druid. End parts a bit, and the staff is bumpy and twisted.
Ok, I have a great idea for this one.  I will spend about 30 tris on the staff part, and maybe 30-50 more on the head.  It will look like a simpler version of this: http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/images/news/2009/february/ulduarweap/ulduar_staff_06.jpg

Skeletal blade for the skeleton. Not exactly sure how to describe it. It is sort of split into two parts, and the blade is curved and wide...
I will make several variations because none of these really ring a bell...  Maybe one would look like this? http://www.keeptothecode.com/gif/conceptartlg/daveyjones_crew3.jpg, or this: http://www.orientalfurniture.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/SA-F2016.jpg

A large iron hammer for the zombie.
I will make it about 3 feet long, and with a giant head.

And a book for the monk (make sure it can be opened and textured easily!). Not really a weapon, but...
Ok, I will make it about a foot tall, and the pages will be smaller than the cover, and the pages and cover will be disconnected.

No pressure. Totally optional, but lowers my FPM load (not by much, but some) and allows me to use others imaginations, not just mine!
No pressure, I can handle it.  If it is important I can draw the lines where the objects would be cut so that you just have to hit unwrap.  Gotta go!

Fantastic. Firstly, that's Gandalf the WHITE. Same person, way later, different staff. Gandalf the grey has an older, wooden staff with a curved end. (You've never seen LOTR?!? Go watch it!)

I'll make you a picture of my thoughts of the bone sword and upload later.

@fluffy: FPM is just magic and tech, but they can split into different paths, either nature or coruption for magic, and either enlightenment or reason for tech.

My parents won't let me watch it. I admit.  They say it is too violent, but I know I am mature enough.  Sometimes I wish they would just leave the house for a couple hours so I can watch it.  I never knew gandalf the white carried a different staff.  This gives me a great opportunity to make 2 models.  I will make sure to label them correctly though.

do you think you could make some renaissance guns, like flintlock muskets and things like that
Fantastic idea!  Here is a list that is not in any particular chronological order:
Handguns:
Arquebus: Short, heavy feeling gun with a small handle.
Musket: 4 foot gun with large handle.  I will make another version with a crude bayonet attached.
Pistol: Short gun with tiny handle.  Only 2 feet long.

Artillery pieces:
Pot de fer:  One of the earliest firearms, basically a large mortar that shoots a hooked dart.
Culverin: A large cannon with a thin bore that could also be the name of an early musket-like handgun.
Organ Gun or Ribauldequin: A gun with many barrels that shoot off simultaneously.  Shoots either pellets or packets of gunpowder, a crude and unreliable rocket launcher.
Bombard:An early, heavy and largely inefficient siege weapon that fired large stone or later metal balls at targets.  It is supported by a framework because of the enormous weight it is consisting of.

Really sorry, the area of ranged weapons is not a good area for me.  I know very little at all.  Later when I have more time I will search on wikipedia.

That sucks. LOTR is very little violence compared to most things. I'm 15, and I've seen my share of R rated movies with my dad...
