NEW! Sauerbraten in glest!

I imported the models of Sauerbraten and made them work in Glest, I used a bunch of free models too.
The models are hight polly so don't get this mod unless you have a good graphics card.
Here is a screen shot of the mod in game, what do you think?

Is this legal, or is it not?

I don't think it is........but check on the sauerbraten website.

What about this game called wandering knights it uses sourbraton models? maybe it is OK for you to do that, What models are you using from sourbraton?

Oh yea Eliminator, doesn't the Spikeballman unit in Romans use a sauerbraten model......?

There is no spikeball man in romans I had that unit removed.
(And it is not from sourbraton, its from wandering knights  :))

I actually read up on the licensing of Sauerbraten a while back, and it basically said that while you can use the engine for anything you want (open source), you can NOT use the content.  The models, textures, etc, are made by various different contributors under different licenses.

uhmm actually I'd guess wandering knights stole that models since its been around for a very loooonnnnnggg time.
I've seen that in itouch games in rpgmakers that model is everywhere + I think its newer than sauerbraeton
