After you change something and you try to play it in Glest, and then Glest crashes and shows you a black screen instead of an error message, here's the easy solution.
This is on Vista(probably works on newly released Windows 7), I'm not sure if this does the same thing on XP or other versions of Windows.
You get the black screen:
Now press these 3 keys at the same time: CTRL + ALT + DEL
That should make a screen come up that gives you multiple options, one of them being: "Start Task Manager", click on that option, and it should bring up a window showing the currently running applications. Now if you can't see the error message behind the Task Manager then move the task manager and minimize any windows that are in front of the error.
If you can already see the error, then simply read it and click "Ok". You can close the Task Manager now.
I know that on some computers it does show the error message but on others it might not, like mine, so that's a simple solution that takes ~5 seconds.
Enjoy! Well don't enjoy knowing you have errors.......just enjoy being able to see them!
