I cancelled it because I was planning to make a centaur faction but numerous people have centaurs in them so theres no point...

Anyway thanks for that, it was what I was looking for. But No longer needed since I am making this whole new faction. And it's not taken :P

I saw a screenshot of this member who had 3 posts and showed he had a centaur, though it is unlikely he is going to use it...

Anyways I think you are going to use that centaur in your holy mod? I am trying to find a way to make some hunters and spearmen for my tech...

The Allyp really looks nice! I will try to import the Allyp to glest. Lets hope all this alpha stuff will work and doesn't look too strange with glests alpha bug.

great model and yea the wings could be extended alit , but most of the detail can be brought out in the texture , but very nice model  ;)

I think the wings could also stand to be quite a bit bigger.  Aside from that, very good work so far.

The wings are fine as they are as far as size goes, but maybe you could add more detail?  Try making them look like the wings of a hawk: http://users.cybercity.dk/~ccc12787/raptors/hawkwing.gif

Well the alliyp has problems with the alpha. units behind the alpha are not visible ...
The parts on the legs and body doesn't matter, but i think the dark sparks on top should be removed.
What do you think?

I agree.  Unless/until we find a way to fix the alpha problem (I think it's a problem with the export script), we should leave those pieces off.

I think the alpha mask the background behind it or it could be that you have to put the alpha on a different mat in 3ds max or blender and it come out as two seperate textures instead of putting it in the channel   ???

I'm pretty sure you can only use one material on each object in Glest.

I haven't tried but I would be willing to bet it doesn't stop you.  Come to think of it, I accidentally did have 2 textures I think, one a bad old one and the other a new one... The new one was only covering half at the time, the old one the rest.  But I could have been mistaken, I really am not positive.
