1- select the armature in objekt mode ( if this is not possible because its inside the model use "h" to hide objects and "ctrl-h" to make all hidden ones visible again. )
2- In the buttons window select the "Editing panel" and switch on XRAY in "Armature window".

Erm...

Problems:

1. Pressing h correctly hides the object but pressing ctrl+h shows nothing but a menu "Modify Hooks for Selected..." with options "Reset Offset" and "Recenter at Cursor". None of those options make any visible changes.

2. My Buttons window -> Editing panel shows no Armature window! Picture attached:

Instead of hiding everything, you can just go into wireframe mode.

I was in wireframe mode before I started any of the above.

Just use X-ray.
I can't find that! Where is it?

Look:
Code: [Select]

And the result.......
Code: [Select]

Thanks, Archmage,

I don't have the "Armatures" tab displayed in you pic. But I guess that's just because there probably is no armature in the model (it's a G3D imported) - I just assumed the option should be visible anyways.

Thanks again :)
