If you are a developer, please build MegaGlest on your own and get in touch to contribute (or post your patches on the forums).
If the model looks pink, that just means that it doesn't know where to find your texture. That's not a problem when you export it, though, because Glest always expects the texture to be in the same folder as the g3d. To get rid of the pinkness, go to your UV/Image window and change the location where the texture is supposed to be.
