Archmage, you can build the infantry camp :D Theres also the mountain aswell! Which I plan to make it look similar to the one of the game's tilesets. and it will be snowy!

I like the campfire idea.  There aren't any other factions that have a "sight only" building, so that's an interesting concept.
Ahem, Dwarves with the observation tower.  But the idea is great, and yes it should be an upgrade building because if it has no attack if can still use its abilities while upgrading.  Great idea.

Edit: I will return to finishing my list:  ;)

Units:  
Hand Axeman: Uses a hand axe. Promotes to Axeman or Spearman with upgrade 'Attach Blade to Pole'.
Axeman:  Swings a heavy axe.'
Spearman: Attacks with spear.  Promotes to spear thrower.
Spear Thrower:  Fast moving, throws a spear a short range, with a slow attack speed.  Promotes to Spear Launcher with upgrade 'Atlatl'.
Spear Launcher/Atlatl-man: Uses an atlatl to launch spears a long distance with a fast attack speed and projectile speed, and a powerful attack.
Sabre Tooth Tiger/Smilodon:  Heavy and fast, quick attack with either paws or jaws.  
Mammoth:  Heavy unit that causes immense impact damage.
Rhinoceros: Heavier horseman-like unit.  Attacks by ramming with head.
Torchman:  Glows because of his torch, large sight range, attacks with torch.  Requires upgrade 'Torch'

Buildings:
Pen:  Produces Tiger, Mammoth and Rhino.  
Mammoth Trap:  Traps Mammoth for huge food boost.
Campfire:  Huge sight, does upgrades 'Friction Fire', 'Fire Hardened Spears', 'Smoked Meat', 'Meat Preservation' and 'Torch'.  (Maybe others) Promotes to 'Mountain Fire'.
Mountain Fire: A tall mound of earth and rock with a bonfire at the top, providing excellent sight.
Craftsman's Hut:  Does upgrades 'Stone Knapping', 'Obsidian Blades', 'Copper Extraction', 'Copper Smelting'.

Upgrades:
Friction Fire: Decreases time required to make Campfire and Mountain Fire, increases sight of those buildings.  Upgraded by Campfire.
Fire Hardened Spears: Increases ATK damage for spearman. Upgraded by Campfire.
Meat Preservation: Increases food bonus from trapping mammoths. Upgraded by Campfire, requires 'Friction Fire'.
Smoked Meat: Further Increases food bonus from trapping Mammoths. Upgraded by Campfire, requires 'Meat Preservation'.
Torch:  Allows Torchman to be built.  Requires 'Friction Fire'.

BTW I really like the idea of lots of researches being about fire.  Fire was important to Ice Age peoples for many reasons.

With that increase bonus for food, I was thinking of an upgrade for the village that would be called Meat Storage or something like that.

I think this would be more recognized as "Caveman Faction" instead of Ice Age Era, because in the ice age there wasn't any giant flying animals that would do good as a sky unit for glest. If it was renamed Caveman Faction it would have more options to do and we could get creative and put some prehistoric creatures in the dino age like a pterodactyl or pteranodon (more of a pteranodon because they're larger. This is just my opinion on what we could do.

Damn, I just made the Base because I was bored, but yours is textured, mine has a flag though..........

Well I thought a flag would be good for team color, and I made it look ripped a bit, I wasted tons of polys on it but the rest of the model was extremely low poly, but you've taken care of team color I see.

I just want the .blend, can I have it, you must have sent it to Scenariole anyway, just send me the link.

@Archmage, when I was planning this, I thought the village would be a house made of clay... But houses never existed lol.

I don't know what the village will look like :/

Maybe something like a hut. Maybe a round hut? Idk, use your imagination... Just be sure its not bigger than the base :P

Well you could do the mountain lol...

It basically looks like one of those mountains in the game... Same size, same height except its just got a snowy texture which I can do. If you can easily get the file for that then theres no need...

Um... How about the campfire? 2x2 square building. All it needs is 1 animation and thats the fire swaying or something like that. And it never stops :P

Theres also the rage cage which would be a cage made of stone but I haven't planned that one yet.

Btw it could be a shelter, but take note it is also the "blacksmith and farm" though when you build it, no food bonuses...

Maybe the research hut?

No its not yet, because the mammoth hasn't been animated...

Can I please have the blend file for the base? Or atleast in g3d? I can texture it aslong as I have the outline of the wireframe or whatever...

Btw what do you mean by the tent? The base? Or the village?

@ Archmage, there was nothing they could do then in that time... Only defense I can think of is a mountain lol attacking with snow :P

Well, I'm not going to do that, that's really uh..........not good, no offense, talking about the mountain throwing snow. I mean mountains never could and never will be able to shoot snowballs at people, although slingshots were developed.

The base is textured, and you don't have to texture after you animate, people actually prefer to texture before they animate, but the animations can come before the texture if they are put into one .blend file, if they are not it's a pain in the @$$ to unwrap over and over and over..........

For defense I either propose we have no defense, or maybe having a slow unit like the golem, but he would be a large man, and would hurl rocks, he would be very thickly armored with tough fur.

Scenariole I'm pretty sure he means the base because that's the one he just made.

I'll animate the mammoth as well as the hunter, I'm waiting to hear back from john about the armature, so I can do something else while I wait.................
