A problem... [FIXED]

I played this game, then on some maps, when I move my mouse up down left, or right, then I go to a river area like in Island Siege (the light blue one in the game map on the top left of the game screen: meaning water or river) it slows down the game, when I go to an area with no water or river, it doesn't slow down. What's the meaning of this?

He also has problems with shadows but the answer translates to

This can be disabled from the options menu or via glest.ini (glestadv.ini if you use GAE). Perhaps an upgrade of video card drivers might help too if they aren't already up-to-date.
