« on: 14 January 2010, 14:24:14 »
I now moved to kubuntu entirely since my old windows was screwed. I got everything running but theres one thing I dont understand. THe g3d export I got from titus games only exports to .xml and from there I cant get to glest. I was wondering if linux had a direct to g3d export or what do I with the xml

It has a direct export.
If you have linux 32 bit download this:
Download http://www.titusgames.de/blender/g3d_xml_exporter_v1.1_linux386.tar.gz

There is "xml2g" included, and you should copy all 3 files to the blender scripts directory.
It should work then.
Try Megaglest! Improved Engine / New factions / New tilesets / New maps / New scenarios

I recommend Titi's solution, but if somehow something goes wrong, and it doesn't work, I posted an alternative here(which I know works because I use it all the time ;)).
