Texture file size, how to decrese?
« on: 4 February 2010, 08:05:54 »
Hello

What sort of compression can I apply to the tga files in order to make them as small as the Glest original ones?
The original are 256KB while mine are 4096KB.

If this topic should go in the mod pat of the board, then I'm sorry, please move the post there :)

Glest only supports uncompressed TGAs, the originals are all uncompressed... how big (pixel dimensions) is your texture?

Dude you want your textures to be sized correctly, 256*256 and 512*512 are good sizes.
