Damm, that is amazing. If not, it looks awesome... Or is awesome > amazing?
Thanks ;D.  I literally smiled like that ( <-- ) when I read that.
:O

I see Gabbe used it, I guess  that is OK. too bad it does not look too good as an avatar. I think.

I don't mind him using it (although I'm not so sure I would) but I think that more people here should try to learn "tricks" in Gimp.  Making those light streaks is incredibly easy:

I would mute the sound though.

Cool.  I know GIMP has some vector capabilities, but I haven't really explored them.

BTW, the music threw me off for a second because I have the same song in my collection.  "Wait a sec, I just turned off my media player... OHH, it's the video!" :O

EDIT: New icons are available.  I changed these two so they would scale down to 32x32 better.

Very nice indeed! Any chance you could do the Glest 'G' in similar fashion (transparent bg) ? And, could we have the xcf files ? I assume the background and letters are on separate layers, in which case for very small (16x16) icons we can just ditch the text completely, and make proper icons that will look good at any common size.

Again, very nice work, Sir.

Here's an icon for your GAM, if you're still working on that.

Sweet, thanks dude!

As to the GAM, it hasn't been worked on in some time, but I do have most of the Glest shared library ported to C#, so it may get an update one day... Nice incentive having such a spiffy icon ready to go :)

Thanks again, great work.

No problem.  I kind of wanted to do it because I thought of the gear thing as I was going to sleep.  I think of a lot of good ideas then.
