Thanks.

Is this a bug/glitch? Or is it intended...  ::)
If you load a saved game, the number of resources remains the same from the beginning... see?  ::)

Just another oversight, but this time I can blame someone else  :P

Thanks. Fixed, will have another windows binary up shortly.

I've installed the rc3 of 0.2.13 to try out gae. Note that I haven't played any older versions so I can't compare it.
I did not noticy any bugs, and it did not crash on me.

What did not work though, was adjusting the key mappings. The game is regenerating the file keymap.ini (thus overwriting my changes) on every restart, which according to the FAQ it should not do.
(Maybe your check whether the file already exists is broken?)

Will explore more of the game later. Thanks for all of your work!

OS: Debian unstable, 32bit

Downloaded and tested.  No bugs, no crashes, everything worked fine as far as I can tell.  Still no 'f' for free camera, though. :look:

Actually, come to think of it, GAE refused to start when I adjusted glestadv.ini to have CameraMaxDistance=15.00, but then I changed it to 25.00 and it worked fine.  (What's the default camera distance, anyway?  My touchpad has an annoying tendency of zooming when I don't want it to, and it lags horribly when I accidentally zoom way out.)

@John.d.h: mmh, according to the keymap.ini, moving the camera is supposed to work via Shift+W/A/S/D. Doesn't, though. What does work is zooming in and out by mouse wheel, though!  :)
I also think I read somewhere that the camera is always free in GAE, so no need for a key to toggle camera mode...

Yes, that is true.

Yeah, I think Silnarm said he had "borrowed" the camera keys for debugging purposes.  Just reminding him to give them back. ;D

Thanks, will look into it.

For the camera, you can also pan by holding down control and the middle mouse button and moving the mouse, I think this may be a little known fact that needs more advertising (Ctrl + Alt gives you a super(fast)-pan too).

Yeah, sorry mate... been a bit slack with the linux builds / tarballs, but I think with giving John his 'f' key back and fixing up the problem with the keymap, I might just make it a final release, all this building and packaging takes up rather too much time for my liking.

I giving it back right now, I promise :)

hmm, I didn't know about Ctrl + Alt, that will be useful in the future.  :)
