I just fished up some new fish for glest from other websites! I did it by posting my wallpapers on other sites.
I am just wondering how some of you guys are getting or recruiting new members.

Even though I am the only one...

You may be the only one now, but somebody's gotta be the first.  Making videos to show people is actually a good promotional tool because it's a lot easier to show somebody some actual gameplay than it is to describe it.

True , but the problem is that practically no one is watching my videos...   Then that makes me think that I am wasting my time, or it's not worth it...  

I wish Glest was more popular. Then it would be more fun or easier...

Well, I tell me friends about it, and I cruise the internet, so far Glest is everywhere, people just don't look!

That's true, but you must bear in mind that many of the bots that are viewing the boards are probably spiders, such as google or yahoos. Spiders are bots that browse the web indexing pages so that people can use search engines to search for that page, and are a vital part of the web. As for the guests that are viewing, they may only be looking for a certain page or two. When I look for help on a subject, I usually don't make an account. However, if I go browsing a forum board entirely, I generally make an account.

Ultifd, im going to join you in your work creating videos, you should download the trial of sony vegas, use it for 30 days, edit as many vids as you can, then get the trial of AAE edit as many videos as you can, put then the load on YT, whoa! you got yourself professional edited videos with professional software.

Also, tag your videos like hell, thats how people earn viewers, subscribers, favs, rating and all that.

Maybe... depends if I really want to...
I might just make like 200 regular videos first, and then start editing/tagging them...
