As far as I can tell, MartiÃ±o rarely comes here except to make big announcements. Tucho is here a little more often, but still pretty rarely, and sometimes reads and posts on interesting topics. I've seen Jose posting a couple times lately, and he's likely the one who updated the forum version. Enveloop used to be on every once in a while, but I haven't seen him in months. There are a couple other members of the Glest Team, but I don't think I've ever seen then on the forum.

Hello, I've made Omega and Titi administrators of this board. They now have the same permissions as the members of the Glest Team and the are free to manage the board as they please.

I liked the way that the original Glest looked before the fall of the GDLoS! I couldn't describe how it looked, because I was only a member for a few days in this style, but I liked it. Titi would probably remember better than me anyhow.

I agree. We should have another board called Fan Art which would encompass all of that stuff which doesn't really fit into the 'Mods' board.

This is an oft-requested board. It is for anything not necessarily Glest-related.

Blender
Finally! Learning Blender is essential to a good mod, so it would be best to have another board for it. This would un-clog Mods with all of those "quick question" topics.

MegaGlest
Because titi's creation is not really a mod, and not really part of GAE yet either. Once the projects combine, so can the boards.

Features Wanted
There is no good place to put topics of this type either. It is not really part of GAE or MegaGlest specifically, because those boards would be filled with stuff about bugs within those engines or new releases, etc. Because this is related to MegaGlest, I would recommend that it would be a subset of the GAE and MegaGlest boards. This board would have topics discussing specific features, how they work, and how they work. Because they are a subset of the engine topics, I am hoping they would get more coder traffic (although they would inevitably find the topics anyways

).

//EDIT: I also think that some higher positions than Battle Machine and Archmage would be cool. I have no idea what you'd come up with, but there should be positions at 500 posts, 1000 posts, 1500 posts, 2000 posts, 2500, and so on (ad infinitum!).

Push Archmage to the top and put other crappy units below it.

With all this new stuff, us moderators would have a lot of topic moving, so that all those topics about Blender would be moved to the Blender board, and so on.

All right my friends. Let's answer some questions:
Firstly, you notice the new smilies. If you don't like them, I'll revert. More animation for now though!

I'll make a new topic on the ANNOUNCEMENTS board for polls on what to do next (ie: what new boards?).

Firstly, I made Arch a moderator because I'll trust him to keep the boards tidy, since he is on perpetually forever.

The moderator's are supposedly a group of people that has power over individual boards. For unknown reasons, this group is empty and I can't seem to remove it. Global Moderator's are moderators for all the boards. Note that I may rename this to simply 'Moderator', though that's just a name.

I think I will reorganize the ranks soon, so you may notice some changes there...
