There's been a lot more than that, but that's the main stuff that comes to mind immediately.
Alot of the work on GAE has gone on "under the hood" rather than shiny new graphics.
You also forgot to mention the massively improved support for LUA with lots of potential to make better scenarios (sadly underused atm) and the upcoming implemetation of physfs which will allow mod packages in a single file like the sping engine.
I have tried to encourage Titi to move the camera code over to MegaGlest. Everytime I start MegaGlest I get frustrated by the restrictive old style camera.
Alot of the more experimental stuff that Daniel was working on was left half finished and is actually being removed from the trunk. For example, I remember his experimental implementation of walls which actually worked in a certain version but has since been broken and only half works now.
