"You idiot", I screamed ,"This isn't just about you its about all of us"...

"then, i dont need your help! I'll find someone else who cares about us...."

"Fine then you big bully", was his reply as he started to cry :'( :'(...

I raced off and immediately jumped on a horse, I had to reach Blownbang the second nearest city with a captain of guards that was a friend and someone who could take action.

The horse fainted as soon as I reached headquarters but I was here

i ran up the steps to the guard station, burst open the door, and demanded to see the captain!

"A guard jumped to attention and said,"Of course bu..."."No buts this is a matter of great urgency"

Suddenly guards were all around me, one of them said "You can see him but you will have to wait your turn!". They brought me in to a room.

I whipped out a crossbow and all the guards flinched, and said "Ouh!".

The guard fumbled with the sword before dropping it and taking me to the captain, we walked into the room...

You know Mr.Cap'n Guard, you're guards aren't very well trained.

What do you want, I'm terribly busy!

I have to fill out those damned papers about outposts being overwhelmed all over the country!

"What why wasn't I informed"

Sir my town has been attacked!
WE need assistance at once!

"Okay, gimme your registration paper and i`ll look into it after i`ve looked into all the others..." said the guard cpt. calm

"Sir i can`t wait! We must act now!"

"Im sorry, but all the country is under attack, your village isn`t priority yet"

I raced out and stole a horse, riding off to find help, we were doomed

As rode back to town I saw Deldrick's house, and I got mad so...

I lit a molotov cocktail that was strapped to the saddle and threw it at the mansion, it exploded and I smiled

it took me 2 days to get back to Coujester, but i was too late. Half of the city was gone, and the intact side was under seige! Battlemages and Daemons were storming all of the buildings, and corpses filled the streets. as i was basking in the death, a daemon slashed at my back.

Spinning around I decapitated him with my sword, as I observed the siege with my recently modified crossbow (it had a telescope attached for sniping) I noticed that many of the mage soldiers were human but armed with axes, bows, cheap spears, and sticks, why they appeared to be indians and norsemen. they had frequently raided our settlements but never in such force. Spurring my horse forth I rode of to the cavalry post of Crazy-Knight which was occupied by the only allies I could think of...

as i rode to the post, i thought to myself,
"Why were the Indians and the Norse working with the Magic? What have they to gain by attacking us? Ever since the Tech started trading with them, they were becoming our allies...this just gets stranger and stranger..."

We'd always been able to handle the occasion attacks by disorganized Magic, Indian, and Norse raiding parties, but this was no raid.  It was an all-out invasion.  I knew there was no way we could stand alone against the might of these three powerful groups.  We were going to need help, and lots of it.
