You are getting me confused john, what new notification system?   Huh.
The notification thing at about 4:40 on the video.
Oh yeah, that. I hope so too. They just really want to go with the flow sometimes...I guess.  :|

Horizontal bars: huh?
Like when Firefox asks you if you want it to remember a password, or tells you it blocked a pop-up.
Really? Never happens for me...only the notification.  :|

I like Firefox just the way it is, I've got all the bars compacted into two bars. Got my download manager all changed around too, much nicer.  ;D

Tabs on top, tabs on bottom, tabs on top looks cooler, otherwise I don't care. :P

I will like the tabs on the top ONLY if it gets rid of the title bar for me, like Google Chrome does. I do not like the title bar, and it clashes with my firefox theme (you've all seen my screen shots of Firefox before). Because I use an addon to get rid of the title bar, its not a huge deal for me, but it would be a nice alternative to using this add on. Verticle space, as John mentioned, is awesome! :D

Though, of course, it will take some getting used to... Can't wait for FF 4 anyway. That is sure to be blast! Wonder when to expect that?

Which add-on would that be?  "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus (Smart)"
(click to show/hide)

That's seriously what it's called (except the spoiler).  Word salad title much?

Edit: By the way, there's also a Firefox add-on called "Tabs on Top" which does... well, exactly what it says on the tin.

Hmm...who knows? shouldn't be too long, I can wait. After all, I wouldn't be really used to it anyways...
Speaking of Firefox 4, the beta is here.  :O
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/4.0b1/releasenotes/
http://lifehacker.com/5580817/first-look-at-the-improved-and-redesigned-firefox-4
So, tabs on tops, menu bar replaced, and refresh and stop buttons are together...  :| something like that, I think you can always revert though.
Can't wait.  :O The competition is still going... Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Oh, and Opera... I don't know if we can count IE.  :look:
(one more thing, for now, tabs on tap is mandatory only on windows) BTW.

Oh oh oh!!! Firefox 4 beta!

*Downloads*

HTML5! CSS3! Of course, no widespread support for years... :(

Still, the fun I'll have! I feel like a kid again! :D

//EDIT:
Here's what I see. I like it! But not enough add on support it, so it'll have to wait...

i use the windows part to play glest, easy. I also have Firefox, i just don't use it very much. Both are like Firefox, no big difference. If something goes wrong with one, i use another :)
I really wonder why most people hate macs...They are quite good, and can run both mac and windows systems, bug free...Long lasting...Worth the money i think.

Actually, IE is pretty popular with schools and old ladies, it's just that anyone who's ever heard the name Firefox throws up at the site of an IE icon. :P

Actually, some schools are beginning to switch.  :O or so I hear. Awesome. They share the same opinion about IE. A lot of people love Firefox.  :O

Only cause of the support, the cost, and...some other little stuff. I wouldn't mind having one though.  :|

Posting from the new Firefox beta.  Works fairly well, but still kinda buggy.  I went ahead and installed the compatibility reporter, since some of my must-have extensions aren't compatible, like Linkification (kinda halfway works) and Fission (doesn't work at all).  Adblock Plus works, though!

I have installed many browser on my system for testing websites.
Konqueror, Chrome, InternetExplorer, Opera, Safari, FIREFOX

In my opinion Firefox is just the GOD OF BROWSERS! - if you can use it
Opera is FF for lazy people, but has some really bad render and problems with javascript.
Chrome is neat, but sometimes flash can be annoying ;)
Konqueror -> for nerds only
Safari is really cool and runs good under windows, but it doesn't give me much control about layout and function
IE... honestly really bad shit, althought they slowly become better and better. Still you can't name this piece of software torture browser...

Finally:

1) FireFox
2) Chrome
3) Safari
4) Opera
5) Konqueror
999) IE

I use Firefox with the Chromifox-basic theme
Addons installed:

Adblock+
German book
Download statusbar
Fast Dial
FireBug
Firesizer
Fox!Box
Searchpreview
Total Validator
NoScript (althought deactivatet whole time ;) )
Minimize to tray plus
Invisible Hand
FlagFox

Oh, I see...  ::)
-----------------------
So, recently, Safari 5 Came out.
I heard it has a option to block all advertisements...or something like that...  :|
Good for some people, and bad for some certain others...I guess.
Basically the same complaint as...as that great firefox Addon...  ::)
http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2010/06/safari-5s-ad-blocker-nudges-web-publishers-to-app-store

So something like that.  :P
Its caled mobilizing you can do it with javascript on the iphone

Well anyways the best browser is firefox, for one reason DTA (downthemall). Down them all is the best browser integrated download accelerator in history. Other wise chrome, on windows firefox took 3 minutes to start up if not more. Chrome opens up in the blink of an eye.

Dude I remember my friend said the internet wasnt working at his house i get over there and I see him trying and failing to get IE to work, I was like ROFLMAO dude use firefox (which was installed)

Finally:

1) FireFox
2) Chrome
3) Safari
4) Opera
5) Konqueror
999) IE
My list:
1. FireFox
2. IE
3. Safari
4. Chrome
5. Opera
999999. Konqueor (who the hell has even heard of this anyways)

Still IE itsn't that bad. but with all the computer junkies out there. All they want is faster the better. And firefox I don't use any funtions there just for web and really its just the same as IE I see no difference. BTW: on my laptop I always use IE (FF can't be use. The only opion there is, is safe mode and thats stupid) and on my regular I was FireFox. Theres no point in trying other ones out
