Finally:

1) FireFox
2) Chrome
3) Safari
4) Opera
5) Konqueror
999) IE
My list:
1. FireFox
2. IE
3. Safari
4. Chrome
5. Opera
999999. Konqueor (who the hell has even heard of this anyways)

Still IE itsn't that bad. but with all the computer junkies out there. All they want is faster the better. And firefox I don't use any funtions there just for web and really its just the same as IE I see no difference. BTW: on my laptop I always use IE (FF can't be use. The only opion there is, is safe mode and thats stupid) and on my regular I was FireFox. Theres no point in trying other ones out

IE is the slowest, least safe browser out there, that's why it sucks.
Konqueror by default comes with Kubuntu Linux(I think), Konqueror is like super-browser, you can browse your computer and the internet with it, though I only use it when I have trouble with FF or something.

Faster? Basically if you got the right settings or original "specs" Chrome and Firefox is the fastest. Stable versions at least... well safari and opera too, so it can not really be like that...

Don't take this personally, but try any other browser than IE before you say something very very dumb.

Hmm...well I'm  :| about that.
Anyways personal opinions are OK and good, but if various studies or tests show and maybe more experienced people..."too", maybe at least try looking at them yourself.  :|

Hmm...how is Firefox 4 Beta 2 now?  :| Good?

Ooh, some one else has discovered the Acid Test! I don't have time to go through it, how close is firefox now? Last I saw, it was high 90s, but that wasn't the default settings, and was a few versions ago. Safari I know aced it, and a few others.

My top browsers:
1. Firefox
2. Chrome
3. Safari

That's all I use really, though I do have Opera and IE installed just for web design purposes (someone has to do the dirty testing...).

Really though, I can assure you from a web designer's viewpoint, IE is horrid. At first look to the untrained eye, it appears ok, but if you know it well enough, you will know not to use it. Your problem, Cat, is the same as grandmas. They simply don't know whats so bad about it because Microsoft hides it under the tables. Trust me when I say it is bad. Very bad.

Well, it is always in the 90s. Never perfect for some reason. Oh well.

Yep.

Hmm, oh no, Mozilla is switching to silent updates. For Firefox 4, at least. Meh...at least, supposedly, it is not forced like Chrome...I guess.

[..] I think the majority of users would prefer an application  that doesn’t bother them with what they view as little details (where a little detail is a minor update, major updates that include UI changes are different).

We get a lot of complaints that Firefox updates too often, people can’t see even see the difference with the new version (it was actually a security patch), that we change our mind too much and should just ship one version (it was actually a security patch), etc.

For Firefox 4 minor updates will occur automatically. Users can change the setting in Options > Advanced > Update. We’ll only be using the major update dialog box for changes like 4 to 4.5 or 5. Unfortunately users will still see the updating progress bar on load, but this is an implementation issue as opposed to a UI one (ideally the update could be applied in the background). We will also be able to prompt the user if they haven’t restarted in a very long time and there is a particularly bad security vulnerability that need to be patched.

1. Firefox - addons
2. Safari - sexy interface + fast
3. Chrome - it's fast

Well, as long as the security updates are really small, I'm fine with that, though I personally prefer to just get the dialogue boxes. After all, I don't want my internet slowing down to background-download something if I'm in a hurry or its an emergency, etc; I prefer to download background stuff when not needing much internet speed, such as when using the Glest Board (after all, spending all that time typing and reading posts can be used to update), though I think that they need an option to choose whether to be silent or to give a dialogue box (rather than just an option on whether or not to have silent updates, unless that was what was meant by it).

Yes, I agree. I guess we will just see later on how it will go...

Wow, Firefox is already at beta 4. Hmm...

:O Hmm, I guess that is a nice way to give feedback.

Hmm, it has been two years since the start of Chrome. (Yeah, today was its birthday) Nice...although I never use it anymore. Firefox keeps me happy most of the time. But Chrome would probably be my 2nd choice...if ever.

Nope...cause I'm kinda happy with my present browser...
But I heard it has improved, enough to maybe be better...but only on some parts.

Why would I even want to try it? Even if its a bit better, Firefox still rules the market.

I still don't know what's possibly better in Google Chrome than in Chromium, the open-source browser they copied.  If anything, I'd prefer Chromium since it is (as it seems to me) lighter and not controlled by a company with a vested interest in compromising your personal information for profit.

No harm, of course. But there is also no need to try...
Also, if I wanted to try a beta of a browser, I would try Firefox, Chrome, etc...
