Oh god! I just realized we left out one of the best games ever off this list! On nowhere here do I see the word "Oblivion"!

I can rack up a dozen people off the street who could easily say they love oblivion (and its precursor, Morrowind)!

Speaking of games, there are 2 other little discussed games (one I just previously mentioned) that are very good yet so ... quiet at the moment (though every now and then someone on RS breaks out talking about oblivion

).

Those two games are the Half Life 2 series and the Elder Scrolls (Oblivion) series. Both excellent.

Speaking of them, does anyone know when to expect the Elder Scrolls V? I heard it may come out this year or next year!

Also, what about Half Life 2: Episode 3? I've been waiting forever and haven't heard any news...

one of the half life voices is dead, it was declared on steam a year ago...I am sorry if this inflicts ur wish..

I don't think the death of one of the voices would kill the game. After all, the biggest character with a voice is Alex (the hot girl), while the main character you control never speaks, though is directly referenced. After some googling, I found it should come out later this year at an expected price of 29.95 MRSP, and it is supposed to wrap up the episodes, as well as finally take us to the Borealis!!!

Relatedly, Portal2 is supposed to come out in 2011. Anyone ever played portal? It was a masterful game included with the orange box (which had all 3 half life 2's as well as team fortress as well) that conned the popular phrase "the cake is a lie" and I for one, cannot wait to see a sequal!

I'd like to see a game that has better graphics than Crysis. But I highly doubt that one exists......

I think Crysis is about neck to neck with arma2 in photorealism.
What can the physics do in Arma2, I mean seriously, Crysis physics are almost flawless for me on max settings.
In my opinion Crysis has better particles, by far, I have my particle settings on minimum and they look better than Arma2's on maximum.

Videos can`t judge the quality, I have both, warhead is maybe equal but regular crysis isn`t. Ofc physics are WAY better on arma 2, its a frikkin simulator man!!

there is a crysis mod that applies Arma to graphics to crysis, but used crysis lighting which is btw the best game lightning system in the solar system

omg why the hell isn`t more people interested in these fantastical games? Is it maybe..just maybe...because their compu can`t handle such graphics? just maybe...maybe a little...noob?

you should see the arma 2 map chernarus, it is HUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEE

I think it looks and sounds nice, but I'm not much of an FPS person, and theres no way I'm gonna spend 30$ on a game I'll play for a short while, I prefer good strategy games to fps so I prefer to pay for things like sudden strike and other good strategy games, does anyone care for board games anymore??

I too highly prefer rts over fps, but i love to see the graphics on highest, and then fps is nicer...though the aimbots sucks hard****...

Aside occasional chess on the computer? Nope.

How could you get bored with Crysis, I play the levels over and over just to find all the nooks, crannys, and alternate routes.

Plus, modifying Crysis is a hell of a lot more fun than modifying Glest.

I've got the submachine gun firing at half-again the original rate, now it just sprays bullets.

Recently, JaGeX added a new skill to free playing players wich allowed them to go and solve the puzzles of duengoneering! This new skill is fair to lower levels as it makes the bosses reduce hp and combat stats when the player duengoneers. The new area covers a area 60 times the area of the city ,in-game, called Falador(!) Here is some shots from it (Runescape.com):

In this game, you really do not get done, after you have reached all the levels to the max, which probably would take 5 years, there is still plenty of quests (160+ more to come(!) ) Now it also comes with a demo version, but why is this necesarry? there is already free to play!

The game supporsts all OS that can run, even the ipod and iphone i think...

Technically you can play just like you can play glest wow nexuiz final fantasy and about any other game that can run with a vnc in the background
