Game will not start

Loving the game but now all the menus work except for the ones that start a game. The buttons highlight and make a clicking sound but then nothing happens. I can open credits and options.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3.2.2. Using Ubuntu 9.10.

It does, but now it looks like I need to reboot every time... any thoughts?

You may want to try running from a terminal to see if there is any output to the terminal screen dealing with errors?
