Spring vs Glest!

Spring seems like proffesional, and glest...amatuerish in comparison...still i like this community better

IDk, still, it is better, got larger community, larger help, mods, original team working, good mods, epic maps, etc etc.

If you played spring I'm afraid you'd take that comment back, still if we improve glest it could get pretty good, I think one advantage of spring is that each mod is completely separate and they have teams of organized people while in glest its more individualistic, which while I personally like it, it slows development a lot.

Well first, Spring is less easier to get then for glest...or megaglest...or GAE, IMO...
Then, Spring basically "beats" Glest...but it also has its disadvantages, along with its advantages...
They are both great, though...

Spring and Glest(general) are diffretn...supposed to be like that.
Oh, and BTW, yeah, it could, but already at least MG (not sure for GAE) has "took an example" from spring...

All of glest could definitely take organizational inspiration because other then the original glest team there is little in the way of permanently organized glest teams, second of all things like turrets directional armor and other features would be great.

yeah, you got more used to the community...But if i were just as unknowing to both, i would pick....[drums]....Glest, in fact, easier to get used to, and i was a newbie

Same thing for me, I think Glest had a nice community, so when I saw it, then checked the community, it was cool...
(I already knew of spring, but... I felt that I was too much of a newb... to it...)Same thing for Glest, but now I am better...maybe towards the middle? 
Anyways, Spring and Glest have there disadvantages or cons and their advantages or pros, but regarding the community, I think Glest is somewhat better...I guess.

Well, I am pretty sure...not everything is perfect anyways ( I was going to say spring is like "1 thing", they have more contributors and helpers, oh and team members... 

But I would and now, and still stick with glest...

Spring is much more advanced in many ways, however there are two main reasons why I chose to mod Glest rather than Spring.

Modding Glest is far easier than Spring. When I first found out about Spring i wanted to make some models for it. After looking at the documentation I came to the conclusion that the Spring model format was a bad joke. This was a couple of years ago so things may have changed but the model format very closely follwed the original TA one circa late 1990's 

I dislike the gameplay style of Spring games. This is a personal thing as some people prefer it. The only game worth playing is S'44 (everyone should really try this its great!). All the others are basically a TA clone in various versions. No tactics, just mass production and fastest key combination wins.

Too bad, i love the gameplay of spring, but it is hard to mod, but i prefer spring gameplay, though bad mod capability.
