Tilesets are not really big so maybe its a good idea to keep them all. On the other hand the download is always growing a bit and if noone plays it, its useless.

My opinion:
I would keep all the stuff! Compared to other games like Nexuiz, the glest download is still small and everything new adds more fun for players

You've updated surface texture custom 5 for all of the older tilesets? If so, you might as well include everything.

All texture custom 5 should be set for all tilesets in megaglest.

Well, that tileset is very nice...but it was made for the Elves faction...so IMO probably not

My Opinion:
Keep all, add spring, and I don't know about Meadow...I need to try it out or play a game with it...

So, I am not voting yet...

EDIT: Meadow is good, so I vote to include it also.

Imladris has some problems in my opinion. The most annoying thing is the size of the trees which are much too big. Flying units fly through them, and on the ground you have problems seeing your units. Beside of this, you very obviously see the repetitions of the ground textures.

And I cannot find a proper copyright, not even a statement. I will only put CC-BY-SA 3.0 stuff in megaglest.

I've voted.

Dark forest isn't consistent with the traditional tileset theme. One of the objects that's traditionally walkable wasn't(or the other way around for all I know...), and can cause problems when playing maps.

The winter and dark forest tilesets in military are editted (change logs in their XMLs) That may have fixed what is wrong with them. (Winter is actually Titi's winter 2 tidied up a bit). Both have fog removed, etc for taking pictures of the map, and will probably undergo a water edit so that the water looks better with the water units.

How about we take your edited versions of those tilesets and put them in MegaGlest?

just add nice tilesets, they only make the game like 10mb bigger, but good tilesets are really adding value to the game...
