Can you sell a Glest mod?

If I made a glest mod similar to Omega's military and Eliminators City mods in layout, with a new back ground, menu, units, xmls and everything, could I sell it?

I started making a mod that I will not post here until finished and it will be free for Glest users, but I would like to sell it here to people who don't know too much about Glest.

You can sell anything that's under GPL or any CC license EXCEPT ones with an "NC" clause, meaning non-commercial.  For example, you can't sell Omega's military, which is under CC-By-NC if I remember correctly, unless he gives you permission.  Of course, if you're the owner/creator of all the content in your mod, you can do whatever the heck you want with it (even if you also put it under an NC license).

No idea.  I plan to do mine from a scratch-made template for my own mod, basically just so I don't have to worry about attribution, but that's just me.
