How old is glest?

An older version of glest, don't know if they have like a hub for older versions, but I found one here a few weeks ago...czech site, but it's ok after you install it...for windows.

EDIT: On sourceforge there are older versions...but only up to v. 1.10 or so...so yeah.

Not that bad, besides, compared to others, in 2002 it was already pretty good...

Yea around 2001 I've been here at glest for a long time since it's 2nd update or 3rd don't remember but I haven't registered cuz it look ugly BUT the awesome thing was seeing glest change just like a Caterpillar to a Beautiful butterfly...AND I SMASHED IT TWICE..NO, four times!!

If I found Glest that time, I also would have tried it...
Because...it would be already good enough for me...at least if it was 2002.

Well, we are getting off topic.
Anyways, I don't care, as Glest is what is it...it basically beats all the other open source or free games(excluding some,  )...it's the one that is most worth it IMO, and also beats some Commercial games too.

Believe it or not it was kinda fun, and a czech site yey , it also got me angry cuz it had some good features that the new glest doesn't, for example you can click and see how much gold is left in a gold resource
