Yes actually, and while I admit its lacking models and animation, it was still a fun mod to play.

I don't know if I want to resurrect the old thread, but since now Megaglest has such amazing particle options, Titi should make a phoenix for his egyptians.

Yeah, but tech has 2, and an ibis is more like a stork than anything else.  Storks aren't deadly adversaries (unless you are a tadpole ).

Besides that Egypt is already OP, I think titi probably doesn't have the time, unfortunately...
But if Egypt was going to be "fixed"/updated,

1.) Add sounds.
2.) chicken farm needs fixing? white chicken
3.) Maybe adjust the splash, etc.

Would be the things that should be done first...not a new unit.

  I just remembered that wciow is making an Undead mod.  Some models have been done already. Can't wait.  I remember there was already some really cool buildings and units. Undead crossbowmen, etc. Unless he changed it... I bet when he finishes it, it'll be great.

No... but he told some other people and I about it before on the IRC Channel...then showed it to us. Was cool... I would show what there is so far (that was uploaded almost two months ago or less) but I don't really have permission and wouldn't want to show something that may be updated...

Anyways, probably in the future there will be a thread.

Make a drop box so that everyone can download all the mods auto? Me and arch are currently doing so.

No, don't do that!

Say you sign someone onto the sharing list, they automatically download the files they are signed for, and they keep updated with every little change. One little itty bitty problem....... If one person on the sharing list deletes a file, or the whole thing for some reason, boom, it's gone on the network, and the next time everybody on the sharing list goes on there computer, the files get "updated".

Nothing wrong with creating an online repository open to the public, but automatic syncing would be a bad idea, as Arch said.  Something like rsync might work, and you could keep a "master copy" that only one person has access to and updates periodically.  Individual drop-boxes are great for individual projects, though.  I have all of my Glest-related stuff synced on Ubuntu One.
