oh thx, ahm, the ground texture are just placeholders so far, far away from a final texture set and done very fast.
for the release date: winter 2005. approximalty.
but there are some troubles, we are transforming glest into something different, so the unit and ressource system itself works in a different way. that includes, that the glest ai isnt able to play our game, and, because of ideology and love, we are betting on a multiplayer version. in my humble opinion, that´s the only interesting thing, ´cos playing against computers without a storyline / campaign is quite, well, the same thing every time.
so, hopefully it will come true.
