glest trailer storyline ideas

This is a contest related to Gabbe's Glest blender trailer topic, I decided it would be nice for everyone to pitch in there ideas, this is a contest for the best storyline, there really aren't any rules other then no plagiarizing if anyone thinks some rule should be added please comment, if you only have a certain ideas, then please post them in this topic, if you write a storyline then it can be based off of glest rpg or purely out of your imagination, it must however be based off of glest factions that are finished or in progress if there is anything I have forgotten please say so, if there are any questions please ask. :) :) :)

well sort of but we need a plot and in general a glest story to base the trailer off of, I'm writing a stpry myself ;D ;D

feel free to use Glest RPG (i started it, so i can give this permission). just please take out all of the pointless conversations and tie up all the loose ends (also wait for the story to end, whenever that happens)

Zoythrus thats a good idea, but we should change a few things...A general eating hamburgers or something.... :-\ :confused: does not belong in it.
How long should the trailer/movie last?

The story will be kind of long, we`ll se how far we can get this year, so we have the whole 2010 to use.

And yeah, after all have come with ideas, i will grammar check and remove and edit if I feel like.

good point, although i do want an actual war in the movie. (when i mean war, i mean large ARMIES; not armies of 32 men each)

yes, that is why i have just been on mountain "Eldsfjellet" here were i live and got a shot of a large plain were atleast 10 000 people would fit.

The main war is going to be based on the MegaPack factions.

Well i have a nice imagination, so i`ll think of something.

How about a war breaking out between the magic land and the technology land...It would be 2 lands separated by a huge lake... And in the middle of the lake, 2 islands : The dwarf island and the elve island.
So the battle would take place on those islands and the surronding lake, with the tech and magic battling to death, and the dwarves and the elves trying to protect themselves.
And then, in the middle of the movie, comes a terrible foe, a new race that does not yet exist in glest and all the other races will have to unite to destroy them.
Well, thats a general overview.

Btw i would not really like the new race to be orcs or dragons, but something really...sorta...cool.

yes, it was very good i remember, though, we`re using vodoo in this one to make it easier to creat huge battle scenes. If anyone got good rigged glest models of all the MegaPack factions, i would appreciate having them with or without animations.

i wish we could export from poser to blender...I heared poser gives instantly very high quality human rigged textured models with clothes ( or without...) and everything...
This would be a piece of cake then.

i migth aswell get terragen though, costs less...if i could figure out how to make blender use tesselation then everything couls get solved by itself..

Here is my current "idea" in film script format anyone got ideas or improvement, just change :)

{Location= Bar, people on a stage singing rock/pop songs}
{Theme= dark, not yet scary}

{Action= You drink a little beer, before you take a look at the stage were someone is dancing and singing.}
{Action= You walk out, still hear the music in the background}

{Location= outside of bar]
{theme= night, almost silent, scary}

{action= walking slowly away from bar, music fading away}

{location= Street}
{theme= Night, silent, scary}

{action= person walks towards you}
{action= "name1" says: Hello, you must follow me, the king wishes you to a mission}
{action= You walk with "name1" till castle}

{location= outside castle}
{theme= night dark, not scary, sounds from within castle}

{action= you walk into castle, leaving "name1" behind}
{action= "name1" walks into town and fades out of visible range}

{location= inside castle}
{them= bright, outside windows night, comfortable for you}

Our character is a young warrior, 16-19 years old. Here is a describing picture



The time era will be set just after the vikings have turned christian and stopped rading cloisters in europe, the time has come when the war between christians and muslims raged. However, our setting will include the egyptians along with medieval characters. The era will be a clash of ancient and medieval.
