Why?  :( The laptop? or the hard drive?  :| If not the laptop itself, its parts, then you still have a chance.

Yes that friend of mines that created the axeman for me is you!  :D, my laptop died because of a pepsi spill. Yea I lost alot of work I have been doing for glest and other wallpapers I was working on. I couldn't upload it because no wireless available around. I could of use my flash drive but I was too lazy to do so D: . So yep...a BIG lesson learned  :-[

I take it you have no clue what defrag is, do you? Information on the HDD is usually scattered around, and defrag tries to make more sense of the mess so it doesn't take so long to open a file. That doesn't apply here.

My advice (too little and too late as it is), is to use a BACKUP! Get an external HD. You *won't* regret it!

Ubuntu Linux has this nice little utility called Ubuntu One that you can use to automatically sync your files to an online account (up to 2GB for free, more if you pay) and to any other computers you connect to your account.  No idea if there's something similar for Windows or Mac, though. :look:

Defrag: Well I know that, haven't used it in a long time though.  :O
Backup: Good. External HD: Sometimes good, But...some aren't...  :|

Er, ultifd, you backup to an external hard drive. In short, you aren't doing your work there (nah, too annoying to have to plug it in every time I open my laptop). I just plug it in every week or so for a backup.

Anyway, there are programs to do online backup, but I don't know any free ones that are worthy of mentioning. I just use a commercial program that ... costed me nothing...

Hmm, depends on your external hard drive though, it's shape, and kinda who made it.
Err...just depends. For example, some I really wouldn't want to use, especially if it is stocky...err...something like that. Then i have to plug it in, or it uses electricity...err...something like that. Err...Now I remember, Glest is taking a lot of space...time for a backup?  :| Been a long time...good ol' external HD.

Online backup: Kinda hard to trust, usually. Then again, this is related (kinda) to when we upload our files...with those free hosting services...are they trustworthy too? All of them usually have tons of ads, and even wait times...sometimes. Rapidshare.  :look: Damm, getting OT.

So uh, welcome back again Little Helper, and as I said in the other thread...don't forgot to "focus on relaxing"...  If you get a break, then you should use it... I think some people need some.

IF you'd like a little speck of light in your dark time, I totally re-animated the Axeman, though if you've lost all your work I don't know what good one model is....... :look:
