Whether or not Mormons count as Christians is really anybody's guess, as there isn't an official or even widely-agreed-upon set of criteria or guidelines.  Some people have a broader definition that includes Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses, whereas others include pretty much only their own denomination as the only "right" and therefor only "true" Christianity.  Basically, it's really subjective.

I have no idea.  That's the sort of question people used to get burned for though.  No offense, but that's the type of pointless question that "intellectuals" pondered 500 years ago.

Taxonomy of religion is a trivial exercise.  What is more important for ideas in general (religions are "packages of ideas", if you will) is whether they can be or have been useful.

Basically, it's really subjective.

Bingo.  The entire business is, but what makes me sick is their confidence in things which they cannot know.
