Moding questions !
« on: 7 September 2010, 17:30:52 »
Hi, im new to this forum (and game), i would like to know if it's possible to mod the game in a way similar to pimp my peon on warcraft3, marine arena/golemz in sc2 or colosseum in aoe3.

We are a team of 5 students in a 3d animation program that are looking to make a game based on the theory of evolution. Units would have to constantly spawn over time from a fixed building. I must also be able to capture neutral buildings. Moreover my only resource would be units that means that upgrades and buildings would require sacrifice.

I'm looking forward to hear your comments.
thank you

Not currently possible without modifications to the engine.

This should be doable with morph commands.

You, know, weather you use this or another engine i would love to play your game :) If your in a 3d-animation program, this does not include coding so as far as modding one of the three engines would be out of limit?

Well, ftm, we're still looking for a program suiting our need. We may be using Torque 3D (Rts starter kit). But anyway, we still have a lot of job and we don't expect the game to be ready before this christmas

If you're still interested by then, keep in touch, ill repost more info for you. Thank you.
