You can look at the inside of the fourth-and fifth images.

 We can learn something and there's a good move, you see. With a mouse click inside of resources, resources can be shown that when workers in the construction of the building when the resources used to show up, feeling really good.
I think these new features glest also should have. Because of these features really make people feel both functional and beautiful.

A.) Someone needs to do move this to the MG Feature Request board
B.) Someone needs to rename this thread so people can understand already. Something like

Well of course this would be helpful/nice... but I don't think this would be a priority.

You may ask why its not there yet ....

I started with it, but it turned out that the whole selecting thing is very performance hungry, so I first improved the current selecting process.
For me its much faster now! I got a speedup from 2 to about 25 fps render speed when handling lost of units and having the selection rectangle open.
( lots of units for my hardware are ~600 units in the field ). Other people with onboard graphics are for shure very happy with this new selection!

Understanding all these selection things ( its done in OpenGL ) took some time, so I think this feature is delayed for next version now.
