hello people! youve probably heard that Seanachaidh, Psychedelic_hands, wciow, Archmage, and I are making a mod. We call this mod Constellus.

Here's the story in a nutshell:
Constellus is a mod about two warring factions: the Crincillin and the Phorin. It all began when the Crincillin Empire started running out of the resources needed to maintain themselves. After years of searching for another planet to support them, they found one - this was Skepna VI. The planet was greatly abundant with resources, but it carried with it many tribes of hostile natives who had no interest in giving up their home. War then ensued...

I'd tell you everything i did between 1.16 and 1.2, but i lost track....

PS. this is an alpha, it in no way shows how stuff is going to be...its still being worked on!

PPS. this is a GAE-only mod. but, if you like mods that crash a lot, put it in your MG folder.

Are the authors Zoythrus and Psychedelic_hands?

Yes, and when the Beta comes out we'll be making updates to the first post.

Seanachaidh came up with the Crincillin, and Psychedelic Hands came up with the Phorin.

Beta expectations(just to inform you guys on how complete this will hopefully be):
Gameplay: Mostly complete.
AI: Disfunctional. (sorry guys)
Models: 75% complete. (things like refining/redoing are about 20% of that)
Textures: 70% (I'm not too sure about this...)
Animations: 75% (being that I'm doing almost all of them, I'm fairly sure on this)
Particles: 50%(ish)
Icons: 90% (I've got no involvement, but I do know they are in the making.
Overall graphical experience: 60% complete.
Soundtrack for Crincillin: 100%(we have a new guy so whether we get a whole new soundtrack or not by the beta is unknown at the moment)
Sound Effects: Unpredictable. (about 10-15% right now)

The Crincillin will feature a computerized voice, though whether all the computerized voice effects will be done by the Beta is unknown. I will be making them.

What's wrong with the AI? Did you try hacking it like how Johndh did with Project Green?

Sounds like too many credits for the MDC. :P

What's wrong with the AI? Did you try hacking it like how Johndh did with Project Green?
The A.I mostly plays the faction fine... Except it doesn't use all the units. Also due to the fact the Crincillin take alot of strategy the A.I can be easily outsmarted.
But that'll all change once there is Lua A.I ;)

The Credits are pretty hectic... There are alot of unless things in there, as well as things meantioned that are untrue...
But I don't really care at all about credits, if the list gets to long just take mine off lol.

True, but a full list crediting everyone from the guy who's music you used to those who inspired specific ideas is something better reserved for an AUTHORS file to be distributed with the mod, while the credits in, say, an MDC, would have just the main creators.

Hello again!

i have a few updates that i'd like to share with you all!

1. Because of his lack of progress, Gabbe has been fired from our team. That means, we have a spot open! if you would like to join our team, PM me and i'll describe the job in more detail. trust me, joining us will be a rewarding experience (we are mainly looking for noobs who would like to learn to mod)

Just use imageshack and resize it to 640x480 :)
Looks nice! Especially with the bunny tileset! hehe...

Gabbe, I already animated it. :| I got tired of seeing it not done.

We overestimated how long it would take us to prepare the beta, and we see no sense in waiting so here it is! :)

I don't think that would be a problem, since this mod is not released every other week or etc...  :|
Besides, icons are the only weakness that I can see of this mod...so far.

Actually I think we're fine for icons, Sean's has made some awesome icons so far!
The only reason I haven't been getting into icons yet is because you said Sean wanted to do it Zoy  :|

my thoughts on it all are this: Elim, i would have no problem with making you a contributor for icons, but sometimes we need stuff right away (we are on a roll, we cant lose any momentum). im just not too sure about hiring you because you have your hand in so much already. if you made stuff for us, your other projects would suffer.
