I downloaded 1.2 which is linked in the first post.  Is this the current version?

I couldn't get it to run in glestadv:

Btw, you should resize your quantum_energy image (2.590x2.590 is too much detail). And please don't add any more music. That's plenty enough good music.

oops. that was a mp3 that a friend sent me, must have saved it in the mod.....oops... :-[  (and no, the easter egg is something you can find ingame, so it's not this). also, the track is pretty good, feel free to take it (consider it an accidental gift)

and we are getting more music, but possibly to replace some of the tracks we have now. the limit here is ten for each faction.

Here's a few images of a tank I finished the a few days ago. Archmage modeled the gun, I pretty much modeled everything else. Can I have some feedback on it?

I'm also just posting these cause this thread is severely lacking images.  :angel:

Edit: Here is a small update on how we're going:
-Archmage has lots of animations to do. :P
-Sean is currently texturing the Paladin/crusader and making command icons.
-I'm retexturing the Portal and gateway, modeling a building called the refinery (trades resources) and texturing the AE and making a map.
-Zoy is arguing with me and coming up with all kinds of crazy ideas .  :angel:

Those screens are looking quite nice.  The one nitpick I have is that the lines on the umm... wings(???) of the tank stands out in a bad way.  While the lines elsewhere look like they could be some sci-fi circuitry or tribal design, there it looks haphazard.

I'm pretty sure the board rejects large images in signatures, by the way. ;)

finally got a bit of concept art!  :P
It's taken me awhile to get something decent.. I'm still not fully used to the Graphics tablet  :scared:

It's not really done, I need to put team-colour markings/cuts/dirt on but I'm bored of it and want some feedback; please, please, be as harsh as possible.
Tell me what you think of the design/concept/whatever. Say suggestions and stuff....  Say anything at all.  :look:

BTW if anyone wants to show me some markings they think would look nice on it, that'd be cool.  :thumbup:

Tablets are the only way to go for "serious" graphical artists.  I'm not "serious" enough to spend hundreds of dollars on one, though. :look:

Hmmmm, Have any ideas of not making it "ant-like"? I think it's just the head shape that's making you think that. I can kinda see it too  :'(

And I'm not serious at all  :O, I just have a cheap $100  Aiptek one, and I work a lot, but don't have much to spend to stuff on; so money isn't much of an issue for me. It was either this or buy a new scanner, and I thought  one of these would be a lot more interesting :D

Thanks! Actually The Phorin are so brutal, they don't even need weapons  ;D Only  a few higher-ups and slave species of theirs use weapons.

Can someone please give me some advice/tips/complaints about it? I'd really love some.
I'll try and work on a few more, hopefully better pics soon...

It could be the shape of the head, I suppose, and the black patches on its face are reminiscent of an ant's eyes.  Vertically flipping the dark patches might make it look less ant-like.  If you're still going for the crustacean angle, adding some mouth feelers might help, or making its eyes more convex and circular.

Now that I look at it a little more, its face also reminds me of an isopod.

we've had a few setbacks, so we wont make the deadline we set (the 24th). we dont know when we will be done with the Crincillin, so dont hold your breath.

NOTE: whenever we do release them, know that it wont be their only update. as silnarm codes new stuff for us to use, we'll retrofit them.

Hey guys, we're having some trouble brainstorming, (mostly because we can never get on at the same time!!!), so I'm putting the question to you...

I'm currently in charge of make the command icons, we have a few, but I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for good recognizable symbols for the rest, things like "go" is an arrow, etc. 

What I'm asking is, could you guys give me some ideas as to what symbols would be good for the following commands and techs:

I think he is refering to the difficulty of getting carbon as a resource. Unless, of course, you are mining pure diamonds in truck loads? (take me to the planet with a diamond cutter!)
