MG version: 3.3.7.2, though has been present since at least 3.3.5. Might affect other OS's too.
To reproduce, press '/' in the menu screen to switch to the system pointer, then start a game. The pointer will no longer be visible, but will still be functional. Pressing '/' again makes it reappear.
