Now that's not something you see everyday on youtube. If I were him I'd not be posting old classics I'd be posting every single good movie I could think of.

I`ve seen one on two hours before, but stupid 2GB cap is limiting and videos over 1 hour usually gets totally broing and they are often unserious.

true

alot of long videos are stupid, except for movies ;)

like this 48 hours crap. its kind of "g@y" i watched the first 3 minutes and i judge it was some teens and foul heads trying to make a long video (which contains nothing but crappy singing)

cheers!

If you like this sort of thing you should watch Money as Debt
Yep, I've already seen it as well as the sequel.  I enjoy watching documentaries and as such, the latest of the Zeitgeist films Zeitgeist: Moving Forward has been released and it is so far the best of the 3 films in my opinion.

So simply listing documentaries that we enjoy is forbidden?

They're political documentaries. Which could easily erupt into a political firefight.

The concept of political documentaries is one that is very subjective.  One could say that every single movie non-fiction and fiction alike are political, they represent the zeitgeist of the time.  Therefore according to your statement, we shouldn't have this thread at all because any movie could light the fire of a "political" firefight.

This is hardly turning into political discourse.  I haven't seen any political statement made in this thread, aside from the actual links themselves.

Curious fact but narnia was most definately written as religious-political indoctrination

Alice in wonderland on the other hand was written whilst high on something

The end result is about the same in terms of counter-reality

Capitalism and other kids stuff is totally political period. Whereas a movie making Capitalism out to be bad is a movie with a politically slanted story. There's quite a difference. Just refrain from posting such things as Capitalism and other kids stuff, that's pure politics and it's unwanted here. If you want to make a statement against war, post something like "Tunnel Rats", not a lecture/documentary on the subject.

It may not erupt into a firefight, but it certainly will change the way people think about each other here, and that's definitely not going to do any good. No good will come of political documentaries being posted, so let's just not post them. Let's stick with "entertainment-based" movies. :|

I'm not making any statements other then I enjoy watching those movies.  This thread is called, "Whats your favorite movie of all time".  Its not entitled, whats your favorite fiction movie that is not politically motivated and won't offend anyone on this thread movie.

I agrue that no good will come of anyone posting anything about themselves.  Any movie could possibly offend someone based on their own cultural background.  A pacifist might hate the idea of anyone watching the typical american gore fest of a movie.  Or a German might hate the fact that someone is watching a highly politically involved movie like Valkorie.

Basically you are hating on my preference for movie watching for some theoretical reason that hasn't happened nor will happen and thats why I have a problem with you saying that I am disallowed to post movies that I enjoy watching.
