We need cool looking MG screenshots for  website/advertising/moddb . If you have some good please post them! Please only post some screens! Only your best that may fit these needs and don't use other factions/tilesets. only original MG content is requested ( including fernland, Its part of MG now).

We want these kind of screenshot that make others think "hey what a cool game, I want to play it!".

Yes, some good screen shots, ideally without visible mouse pointers on them, and made on good video hardware with most graphical features enabled, showing off the nice faction units and buildings and the particles, would be really good to have. This is a first step to making MG better known, thus increasing the community, giving us more people to play with. :-)

Here's some example screen shots titi made once: http://titusgames.de/screens/mparticles/index.html

I also made some when I was announcing the 3.3.5 release to german media: http://freeit.org/glest/mediakit/megaglest335.zip

But I'm sure you can do much better, since mine were made with an onboard Intel CPU and in a rush, and I think titi's are already a bit old by now, and having more good shots would surely help.

Nice...but do we really want pics of people just spamming certain units?  :|

I know, but I think the best thing would to have images of spammed' units...we don't want people to think glest/MG is just about spamming units and that that is the strategy itself...right?
and people can always take screenshots any time during the game

Nice shots!
Of the first batch, I like the following ones most: 1 4 9 10, and possibly the last one (custom game menu)
Of the second batch, I like the third and the last one most.

Perhaps if I manage to upgrade today, in the future I  may be able to provide nice videos...

I think these were nice...

Major suggestion for all screenshots: Hide the HUD. Surely MG has a photomode, right? Of course, it really needs a toggleable photomode in game, like GAE... At any rate, the HUD elements, particularly, the resources, minimap, and multiplayer chat, mar the images.

Yes...but the problem with that is that we don't really have the time to play and take screenshots just for that. Since we're playing and/or testing, we then can also take screenshots too... For now, I guess we'll just have to blur the HUD out...In the future, we'll just have some awesome games without the HUD. Although, that might be a bit hard.

.. and I want to show real life ingame screenshots not those syntetic ones showing completly unreal scenes.
If you are new to glest you might also be happy to see parts of the userinterface to get an idea of the game.

All in all I think its not that important if with hud or without.
