Failed to initilize properly (0xc015002)

getting error: glest.exe- application error>the app failed to initilize properly(0xc015002). click on ok to terminate the program. Does anyone know why im getting this message? Thanks for all the help.

We definitely need more info to determine the problem. What version of Windows are you using? 32 bit or 64 bit.
Is this Glest 3.22? Etc...

win xp ver 2002 service pack 2/ 2.93 ghz, 1g ram. this is glest 3.22/ and 32 bit unfortunately. thanks for your help. If you need more info just let me know. please be specific.

Screw it, download MG and/or GAE. much better and (Atleast for me) with less bugs.

We'll also need your graphics card as well. That is one of the most important.

Does it give this error when starting up, or during game, etc? Do you see anything (even a black screen) before you get it?

I downloaded the game. It gave me 2 desktop icons . one for this site and one for the game. As soon as i click the game shortcut, i get the error message. I mean immediately. No black screen or nothing. Is their not anywhere we can look up "that" particular error and see what it means? I thought that was why u get the error message in the first place. What do i know? I obviously need help or i wouldn't be here.

Cool information, but you never gave us your error message.

We can't help you unless we know what the game has wrong.

And again, I recommend you try GAE, since, even if it doesn't work, it has better error reporting, thus allowing us to find out the problem easier.

Well, if we can't solve this problem, try Megaglest or GAE. Megaglest, if you want to play with others so that they could help you and some other "new" features... GAE if you want to have a lot of nice features to play with...
