The middle guys have an advantage because their together.
Get the Vbros': Packs 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5!

Yeah, rushing from the middle team is easy to take out one opponent in early game. I suggest you can "Block" the roads to the middle with trees that need to be chopped down, then you either have to tech into air units or chop the trees down, then everyone can prepare for battle instead of preparing for rush. Dont know how the AI is going to handle this though.

I think the best way to play would be to have two teams, players 1-4 vs. AI 5-8, with some ultras thrown in there to compensate for the distance disadvantage.  The AI would probably end up attacking by surrounding the players, and the players would have to take out each AI individually.

The AI attacks where it's attacked actually, so that's the first person his explorers find. It would not crash or anything, but would not attempt to chop trees or do anything clever either (I read the code).

Yep. Really fun and challenging when you're in the middle and you're against 4 1.5 ultras in mg. SOme adjustments do need to be made, though...

It's not a bad map, though the unbalanced-ness of it is a critical flaw that makes human players only suitable in the center. And they do have a huge advantage. If I can take out a single MegaCPU without breaking a sweat, what will taking them out one at a time with 4 of us do?

Really fun and challenging when you're in the middle and you're against 4 1.5 ultras in mg

Well, in MG 3.4.0 the everything (resource multiplyer) is lower because of improvements...so now I think for ultras it is 2.2 which is still hard sometimes. For me I prefer 4 1.5 ultras because they are all balanced, have anti air, and are usually challenging. Which is fun.  :O They equal more than one mega anyways.  ::)

It was meant as a multiplayer map. I played it now about 5 times with others and did not find anything really problematic!
Did you find something?

It was designed for humans sitting in hte middle and waiting for the CPU attack :D .

I think that maybe you should seperate the four bases in the middle with trees. Then pack onto MG. I think it still needs balancing ;)
