is there anyway i can modify this game, so that i can control more then 16 units at a time?

Yes, you can select more in Mega Glest. And maybe in GAE, I'm not sure.

In Vanilla Glest, you can't...in MG 3.4.0 you can set it in glestuser.ini, and in MG 3.5.0 36 (default) units are  selectable. In GAE It's up to 32.
In MG 3.4.0, go to glestuser.ini and change MaxUnitSelectCount=X

Right, sorry. I could never select too many Archmages...

Oh crap! Sorry man, it IS 24.... I could have sworn it was 32... my bad...

Anyway, I thought there were going to be tabs? Stacked icons don't look very nice.... Then again the GUI could be changed...
