This is what the game looks like for me when it starts (and for a little while after). This is occasionally followed by a freeze when I click on something.

At Hailstone's advice, I turned off VBOs in the ini, and the error is gone. Strangely enough, VBOs worked fine for me in the initial implementation when they were first introduced as a command line option.
