[Fixed] Wrong overlapping gui buttons
« on: 18 April 2011, 06:06:25 »
Hi.

In GUI appears to be invalid overlapping menu buttons, i.e. when displays simultaneously the main menu and quit dialog, main menu buttons gets more priority on intersection than the quit dialog buttons.

Perhaps should be hiding main menu , when appears the quit dialog?

(click to show/hide)

First of all, wth? How'd you get to the main menu? I think that's the main problem/reason...the quit dialog should always appear only in game, until now I guess.

Yes, I forgot to say that I pressed ESC, just as in game time.

This is how messageboxes always work in glest. I did change the background so its less transparent and the messagebox stands out more to mkae it more obvious that the messagebox is in front

I just verified this myself.

If you press escape in the main menu, you get the 'are you sure you want to quit?' message box above

but you can still click on the menu buttons underneath it!  Not good.

Its not modal, and it doesn't even eat all the clicks on the dialog area...

Softcoder said the ESC in the menu(s) were just for people who had mouse problems...never really had any so I didn't notice this.

Seems that it was fixed at least for 3.5.1-2152.
