with a splash attack allied units other Allied units take damage too.
this normal?

Yes, that's called splash. Which is why people start to hate it...

There is an XML value that is supposed to toggle whether or not allied units take damage as well from this splash, but last I heard it was broken and I don't know if it was ever fixed in either fork. However, many attacks with splashes should have the splashes. For example, you throw a huge stone at a group of units where there is both enemies and your own units. You might hit your own units too, and obviously, that's gonna hurt. Splash does add a bit more strategy in the game. It can work against you or it can work for you. s

Obviously, there is something wrong with splash attacks:

At first screen only priest (radius - 4) can damage peasants around the warrior, while bug (radius - 2) and snake (radius - 3) can not. Whereas summoner at the second screen has 1 radius and she can damage initiates around the daemon.
It can be wrong information about unit's attack or they (bug and snake) even haven't splash attack, i don't know. Probably not only these units have these troubles, it is just what i notice today.

I think you need to try again, snakes and scarabs(bugs), they both do damage too...
