Moo. Animals. More.

Wow. Heard about this game a long time ago. I was kinda bored with RTS genre but decided to check it out because I'm an rpg fan. Played the first mission for a moment and I'm really impressed. Thank you for Linux Port (both: the author, and that you - the team that is - decided to port it officially). I switched to Kubuntu Linux a while ago. This system has a future.

Some village houses with peasants producing food would be cool. Cows biting grass - a building model with a fence + animated cows - that would do. Even if you don't want to add separate houses / peasant units. I loved that in an old polish strategy game :)

We want cows! Who's with me? :)

More to follow probably. Anybody reading it?

What about taming and the day/night cycle affecting some units?

Taming would be so cool - for example when you're tamer becames the master of his art by taming many animals, you can tame some really cool ones :) Risking your life to tame one and if you're successful you could use him against the enemy ]:-> Anyway, I hope that you'll add taming at least in similar form.

Hope some devs will respond.

Of course. I can't wait for multiplayer. When you add multiplayer, I will create a polish site for Glest.

Another interesting idea would be to breed horses before you can build horseman-units. Maybe you can do both, taming and breeding and they have  different  advantages. With breeding you can have as much horses as you want, but it is more expensive than taming etc.

Nice idea, adds to the atmosphere.

Yes, I can wait. In fact - I must. I'm preoccupied with RL stuff right now.

that seems kind of advanced but would work, what could be similar for magic, learn powerful spells and add them to mages to make them more powerful?

anyways. I think your (Oh Holy Glest Team) priority is to multiplayer and more units.

thnx
