I know that this is a bit off topic, but I just
got
3ds max 7 and I have no idea about how to use it.
So... is there a good free tutorial about how to use 3ds max 7?

If you use a legal version of 3ds max 7 or the trail version you should have lots of tutorials via help. Also you can download it on discreet

It is a very simple model that I made in a few minutes.
I was thinking about to make some new units, but I am a bit sad because my GeForce 2 doesn't support Glest' shadows and always that I look to the water in game I have a
HUGE
lag.

In 1.1.0, final version, you will be able to specify the origin of the particles.
And the game should run fine in the GF2 if you disable 3D textures.
